One of the newest trends to hit the Halifax scene is event lighting, and up lighting. Up-lighting even though it is popular for wedding lighting, it is also quite popular for other special or 
corporate events. Up lighting is basically placing lights on the floor and using them to highlight the room with colors. It is a very cost effective way of decorating. Also according to some of the local professional photographers it makes your photos from the reception pop with color! Other wedding lighting include ceiling lights such as water effects and ceiling textures.

Almost all colors are available but certain colors are harder to produce. I think that white up lighting does not have the dramatic effect that having an actual color has. Also when using white lighting it usually ends up having an overtone of blue or yellow or the color of the walls. Our up lighting are L.e.d. so they draw very little power and produce very little heat some thing you'll appreciate when you see one of your young guest wanting to touch our pretty lights
